We are in Ohio for the week. We wanted to be together to bring in the new year. Of course Ohio gets way more snow than Tennessee. And, our kiddos are not used to such cold temps as you can tell in the video. We only stayed outside for a total of 7 minutes! It took us longer to get ready to go outside than the amount of time we were actually out there. That is just hilarious. Jordan was ready to come back inside but Norah did not want to come in. She was so mad and didn't want to take off her coat. I do believe she would of stayed out there all day if the rest of us could stand it. You will have to scroll all the way to the bottom of this page to pause the playlist music if you want to hear the sound on the video. Enjoy.

Christmas Card Examples for Tami
This first design was designed by me. Opens Vertical, the front is on the right side and the back is the left side.
This is the inside of the above card:
This was designed through my lab, a great template design. It opens hortizontal (from the bottom up), so the front is the bottom half and the back of the card is the above half.
This is the inside of the above card and this is what it will look like completely opened:

Mahala and her girls
I loved working with these young sweeties! They were so much fun and had a lot of personality. I've had the honor of knowing Mahala since high school. And, I am such a fan of shooting her girls. They are beautiful and easy going. With that, they were so easy to shoot. Please pray for this family though. Because Mahala is going to Iraq in December. She will be gone for a year. She's been serving our country for 7 years. I'm so proud of her and all of our troops for the sacrifices they have to make. They (like Mahala) have no selfishness in them. Thank you for all you do for our country and for all of our children. My prayers are with you and your girls.
Other prayer requests for our troops:
My sister's Husband: Steve will be going to Iraq in Dec. for his Third Tour.
Another Friend of mine, Kimberly, her husband is over there right now.

A Krispy Kreme Kind of Day
Here's something I should do more often, capture the little every day moments that slip away so quickly. My family goes to get doughnuts quit often ( we used to go every Friday morning for breakfast ). Now, we go a little less. I've never carried my camera to capture days like these. Though I should carry it with me more, I know that now. These pictures have become my favorites of Jordan and Norah because it's just them being themselves. They are growing up so fast, I wish I could slow the process down. Perhaps with my camera, I can slow down some of these moments. My goal was to capture the ordinary and make it extraordinary.
We so often take these moments for granted when God has Blessed us with them. God has given us these moments to cherish.
So, my advice to myself and to those reading this: Make More Days a Krispy Kreme Kind of Day!
And, this one is one of my favorites, because look at how Norah looks up at her brother:

Not bad for his first time using Flash, uh? Please comment and let me know what you all think. Plus, we have a great new logo that will now appear on the pictures.

Newborn Baby Jayce Travis
Newborn Baby Jayce Travis, what an adorable baby he is! I've known this family a very long time! Probably since Stephanie (the mom) was 8 years old. I was best friends with her older brother, Travis Weber who is in Heaven now. But, I'm sure he's looking down at this sweet baby boy thinking of how proud he is of them! I'm so very blessed to be apart of this family's lives. Thank you Stephanie, Phillip and little baby Jayce! I look forward toward watching you grow.

Alicia's Bridal Session (My Favs)
I'm getting so bad about blogging these days. Busy with life I guess you could say. Our bathroom is torn upside down from remodeling, my son is in spring ball and that keeps us pretty busy, and the house work keeps piling up. But, here are some great pics of Alicia's Bridal Session. I've gotten behind on posting too, these were shot the end of Feb. Enjoy! Thank you Alicia, you are beautiful!
The wind was blowing so hard that day, but it was beautiful!
